We understand that going to the dentist is not anyone's favorite thing to do. But we are determined to make a patient's experience in our office no more difficult than it has to be, and maybe even have some fun along the way! When a patient leaves with a smile on their face, we smile along with them.
Jolynn – Patient Care Coordinator
I'm Jolynn and I'm the person who usually answers the phone when you call, and usually the first person at the front desk when you visit. My job is to assist you with appointments, insurance, and financial matters. It is important to me to work for a dentist who provides the very best care for his patients. I see and feel that every day in Dr. Gilbert's office, both as a staff member and as a patient myself! I love coming to work every day. It is a pleasure for me to work with some of the best staff and patients in the business!
Although my children are grown, I am still involved as a trainer for Girl Scouts, and I teach classes at my sister's quilt shop. My husband and I enjoy spending time with friends, hiking and camping, or just being at home working in our garden together.
Julie – Dental Hygienist
After working for Dr. Gilbert since 2000, I enjoy the fact that I have close relationships with our patients. We have gotten to know each other quite well and I look forward to catching up on their lives when they come in for appointments. It is very important to me that our patients have a gentle and pleasant visit. Dr. Gilbert is a perfectionist and a professional, always looking to improve the practice to give patients the best care possible.
My husband Kirt and I enjoy cooking together, camping, cycling, and spending time with family and friends. I also have two stepchildren, Scott and Jadie.
Vanessa – Dental Assistant
Hello, it's great to meet you! As a dental assistant in our office, I make sure each person who visits us is at ease and comfortable. I love working with Dr. Gilbert because he cares so much about his patients and takes care of their needs with love. He's just the best to work for. My favorite part of my job is working with such great people, both patients and staff!
When I'm not in the office, I love spending time with my husband Victor and our son, Victor Jr. Being a mommy is my greatest accomplishment and every minute with my son is a blessing!
Kirt – Dental Hygienist
Hello, I'm Kirt. I've been a dental hygienist since 1999, and have enjoyed working with Dr. G and staff since 2008. My excitement for this rapidly expanding profession goes well beyond cleaning teeth; I feel a strong connection between health and happiness. My job is based on relationships. For me, sharing a smile and a laugh with a patient is more important than lecturing to patients.
I look forward to meeting you and creating a warm and satisfying dental experience.
Stephanie – Dental Assistant
Hi, I’m Stephanie. I am a dental assistant for Dr. Gilbert. I can honestly say that it is a pleasure to come to work every day to be with our awesome team and our amazing patients. Being a part of something as important as a smile is very rewarding, especially since Dr. Gilbert is an excellent dentist and is always looking out for the best interest of his patients and staff. Working for Dr. Gilbert is fun! There is always laughter in the office and my co-workers are the best!
Outside of the office I enjoy being with my family, chasing after my son, and being outdoors.
Cindy – Dental Hygienist
I first became inspired to go into dental hygiene as a result of encouragement by my orthodontist while in high school. I attended LaSierra College for the hygiene pre-requisites and then Loma Linda University’s School of Dentistry where I received a Bachelor's Degree in Dental Hygiene. I then moved to the Sacramento area and started my hygiene career.
The best, most rewarding aspect of practicing hygiene is the long-term relationships created with my patients. It has been exciting for me to get to know the Gilbert team, and I am so lucky they have welcomed me with open arms.
I am happy to say my family is my full-time hobby. My husband Steve is an orthodontist. We have two sons, both in college. Both boys are pitchers and keep us very busy with their baseball games. It's a “busyness” I thoroughly enjoy!
